Papilio andronicus (Ward, 1871)

Mt Kala Cameroon April 1975 same data verso
Mt Kala Cameroun May 1998 same data verso

Poorly known; Reported from Cameroon primarily. Not common in collections, but little known of wild population. I am not completely sure of the identification of the specimen shown - It seems to be correct by Hancock's review of the Princeps zenobia group (Papilio International 1988). Andronicus is described as being very similar to Papilio zenobia but with white rather than ochre bands, and on the underside the black line in space 7 near the base of the wing is unbroken (compare with zenobia)
