    Very narrow range in Ethiopia and NW Somalia; Not at all common in general, but local and seasonal in occurance. Apparently may be abundant at times in the right place. One of the smallest of the nireus group, also known as P microps
    The bottom specimen was collected along with specimens matching the top specimen in SW Ethiopia by D. Rogers. It may represent a separate species or a  separate form of aethiops that can arise in a single population. If anyone has any info on this form please email us
