Poorly known and confined to the Andaman islands
(where it currently enjoys protection with Papilio
mayo and Losaria rhodifer).
Probably extremely seasonal and local like many of its relatives (March
and April would be likely), but I suspect it is not rare when found. Deforestation
is reported (Collins & Morris, 1985) to be a major threat in the Andamans,
but I can not verify this and know little of the current state of things
in these isolated islands....
