Known from Cuba where it is widespread, Battus devilliers
was recently discovered on Andros island in the Bahamas and has been reported
as a stray in S Florida as well (unconfirmed). It favors pine and scrub
forests, and in Cuba it seems to be most frequent in the west end of the
island.
